CASD authorizes payment for bus contractors and others

CHAMBERSBURG >> Local bus contractors are getting their paychecks for 20 days of service provided in September, even though Chambersburg school board did not approve the payment of bills at its most recent meeting. Chambersburg Area School District on Friday afternoon announced that board leadership had authorized the treasurer to "promptly pay amounts due based on contracts previously approved" by the school board.
