New Figures: Metro-North Adding Riders, Reducing Delays
Metro-North's on-time performance improved dramatically in August, surpassing the railroad's goal for the first time all year. The railroad classified 95.6 percent of trains on the heavily used New Haven line as "on time," meaning they reached their final stop within six minutes of scheduled arrival.
