Terex to Shutter NC Crane Assembly Plant
Terex Cranes will shut down its fabrication and assembly facility for tower cranes and small crawler cranes in Wilmington, N.C., by year’s end, putting about 90 people out of work. The company says service and aftermarket support for these product lines will remain in Wilmington for the foreseeable future. Parts will be housed in Mississippi. (More from WWAYtv3.com . . . )
