Transportation Study: Secondary Roads Need Work, Money
State and county governments in Virginia have been in a tug-of-war for several years over who should pay for the maintenance of local roads. Counties want the state to continue paying for local road improvements, but a recently released state-sponsored study may add fuel to the state’s proposal that counties should handle the responsibility.
