Apple, Cupertino celebrate after path cleared for new headquarters
City officials and Apple's chief financial officer Wednesday celebrated the launch of the company's spaceship-shaped headquarters after a series of unanimous City Council votes that pave the way for construction to begin on the 2.8 million-square-foot behemoth by the end of the year.
