Home prices in the UK have risen at their highest pace in six years in May as a shortage in supply and certain government schemes boosted property prices, especially in Property analytics firm Hometrack said that average house prices rose 0.4% in England and Wales in the ongoing month, the biggest monthly rise since May 2007.
