Report: Engineered Wood Demand To Rise in 2012
Demand for North American engineered wood products should see a boost in 2012 thanks to an anticipated 10% combined increase in the U.S.- and Canadian housing markets, APA-The Engineered Wood Association reported earlier this month as a part of its 2012 market outlook. ?There?s a little more life to engineered wood demand this year. Last year, we were just treading water,? said Craig Adair, APA market research director, in a release. ?This year, we?re expecting demand to pick up from 4% to 11% depending on the product.?
