OSHA Final Rule Simplifies Standards, Reduces Employer Burdens
Responding to an executive order to review regulations and reduce unnecessary burdens, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration simplified various standards to maintain employee protection while resulting in annual cost savings to employers exceeding $43 million and significantly reducing paperwork. Changes affect the respiratory protection standard, align OSHA’s definition of “potable water” with EPA
