Senate Finance Committee Weighs Options to Pay for Transport
The Senate Finance Committee examined numerous proposals to increase federal revenue for transportation projects during a hearing last week. Taxes on vehicle miles traveled were considered (and the Mileage Based User Fee Alliance issued a fact sheet answering frequently asked questions), as were transportation tax-credit bonds.
