CARB Votes Today on Rolling Back Diesel Exhaust Limits
The California Air Resources Board is planning to roll back diesel emission limits for trucks, buses and off-road heavy equipment because initial estimates for emissions from diesel engines were dramatically too high. Analysis by the state shows an “80% reduction in emissions from what had previously been estimated, with about half of this reduction the result of the recession, and about half due to changes in inventory
