Manchester-based European Attachments Group is marketing the V12 dust suppression system from Techno Alpin (best known for its snow making machines). The V12 works on the same principle as the established DustBoss but its 30 water atomising nozzles are placed around the fan shaft rather than around the outside of the housing.
By adding the water to the centre of the air jet the company said the mist can be precisely targeted at dust sources up to 60m away and the water consumption is reduced
